A varied and at the same time, a harmonious architectural appearance complements the building of Odessa Philharmonic - a real decoration of its historical center. This unique monument is located at the corner of Pushkin and Bunin.
Built in 1899, the building originally intended for exchange trading, and because it housed the new merchant market, which was built to replace the old stock exchange, which is the Promenade. This need was caused by an increase in exports of grain through the port city, the advent of the railway in it and, accordingly, the growth of trade deals.
