As an experiment for the officers of the Navy, the USSR Ministry of Defense Order No. 55 of 1964 introduced daily removable shoulder straps 6 cm wide with a field of black silk silk with the edges of instrument cloth, the same as gleams, colors (Figures 32 - 33). In parallel with them, they continued to wear shoulder straps of the 1963 model. The order of wearing newly introduced epaulettes was determined by Order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR of May 26, 1964 No. 130. They did not last long, and were abolished by Order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR from 1965 No. 179.

P.S. Order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR No. 45 of February 21, 1962, on the summer coat of marshals and generals, new shoulder straps with a field of silk yellow gallon of steel color were installed.
By order of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR No. 127 of May 12, 1962, similar epaulettes were installed for wearing marshals and generals at ceremonial output tunics.
