Established February 21, 1913 by decree of Emperor Nicholas II, reported the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
Medal awarded:
a) All persons, consisting of 21 February 1913 on public service in military, marine, civil and court officers, members of the State Coveta and the State Duma, the clergy of all faiths, serving in elected positions in the nobility, rural and urban municipalities, civilian and non- employees of both genders in government, retired officers and civilian maritime agencies, entitled to wear the retired uniform, the educational composition of both sexes in the upper, middle and lower state-owned institutions, the artists of the Imperial Theatres, the Sisters of Charity of the Russian Red Cross, rural elders, Chairmen of township courts, Voitov commune, village chiefs and their respective officials of township and village offices, persons awarded the decorations;
b) cadets and pages of special classes, all consisting of 21 February 1913 on active duty ranks of the army, navy, separate corps of border guards and gendarmes, police escort teams and prison guards, as well as representatives of the rural population who participated in the celebrations in the presence of Emperor;
a) All persons who actively participated in the preparation, device, and the celebration of the anniversary of 300 years of the reign of the Romanov dynasty;
r) Medalist, artisans and workers of the St. Petersburg mint produced the coin.
Persons listed in paragraph "b" received medals for free, the rest were given a special award certificate for the right to wear medals that were purchased for a fee (including from private firms and shops).

LOT # 17020. Medal in memory " 200 th anniversary of the Battle of Poltava " 1709 -1909 years. Parameters: Private trader, bronze, gold plated, weight - 10.4 gr., diameter - 28 mm., Cond. - Very Good.
In the document dated June 17, 1909 reads: "... To celebrate the memory of the 200-year anniversary of the Poltava victory set a light bronze medal to be worn on the chest at St. Andrew's tape."
Medal awarded to all, without exception, the military ranks and civilian officials "... those military units that participated in the Battle of Poltava, and - as pointed out by the situation - existing at the present time, retain the name, which were in 1709.
