Asukoht: Lõhavere mõisas, 1 km kirde suunas Suure-Jaani kirikukülast. Nimekuju: saksa keeles Lehowa; vene keeles Meroba. Esimest korda mainitud 1224 (Castrum Leole). Kuulus siis Viljandi lossile ja läänistati 1652 Rootsi kroonu poolt krahv Jakob de Gardiele. Viimaseks omanikuks enne riigistamist oli parun Alfred Alex. von Stryk, kes ise elas Suure-Kõpu mõisas.,
