The city of Emperor Alexander III - Polyarny is a city in the Murmansk region of Russia, located on the shore of the Yekaterininskaya Harbor of the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea, approximately 30 km (as the crow flies) from Murmansk. It was renamed in 1931, and then in 1939 its name was changed to Polyarnoye.
