P.S. The most sensational discovery of the twentieth century - pectoral Scythian king of gold 958 samples, weighing 1150 grams and a diameter of 30.6 cm was found Ukrainian archeologist Boris Mozolevski June 21, 1971 during the excavation of the mound Tolstaya tomb in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The find dates back to the IV. BC. and is stored in Kiev at the State Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine.
Compositionally pectoral - this moonlike three tiers connected by a golden plaits. Every detail affects the completeness, filigree, perfectly proportioned images of people and animals at rest and in motion. The plot is typical for images of Indo-European peoples. Decoration combines presentation and cosmogony of the ancient people, and a map of Great Scythia, and calendar.
