The cover depicts the Shah's Palace, also known as the Brzozovsky Palace, located in Odessa. This neo-Gothic building was built in 1851-1852 according to the project of the architect Felix Gonsirowski, for the Polish nobleman Zenon Bozhovsky.
The name "Shah's", in turn, received only in 1907, when it was rented by the Persian Shah Mohammed Ali, who fled to Odessa from the revolution in Iran.
