P.S. The Odessa socio-political literary magazine "Shkval" was published from 1924 to 1933 of the twentieth century. It covered many topics - public life, everyday life, international events, it also published articles on education, science, literature, theater, painting. The pages of the magazine often published stories and poems by famous Ukrainian writers. Publications of the first years were both in Russian and Ukrainian. Since 1929, the magazine was published in Ukrainian, as a supplement to the newspaper "Chernomorskaya Kommuna". In 1933, "Shkval" was merged with the magazine "Metallic Days".
