P.S. In 1927, on the site of the modern SKA stadium, a football arena appeared, which was named the stadium "Pishchevik"[4][5]. In its current form, the SKA sports complex was built in 1966 by soldiers on the site of an old wooden stadium. The initiative belonged to the then commander of the Odessa Military District, Army General Amazasp Babajanyan [6]. The stadium was designed for 30,000 spectators [2], was equipped with artificial lighting and contained running tracks around the football field. For a long time, the SKA stadium was the home arena of the Odessa army club, which during the independence of Ukraine changed its name to SC "Odessa", in addition, in the 90s of the 20th century, the SKA-Lotto team played its matches at the stadium. All this time, the arena was first on the balance sheet of the USSR Ministry of Defense, and later became the property of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
