The plate shows a photo of one of the main attractions of Odessa - the Potemkin Stairs, connecting Primorsky Boulevard with the seaport. It was designed and built in the classical style in 1841. Near the stairs there are recreation areas - the Greek and Istanbul parks, as well as a funicular. And the stairs gained worldwide fame thanks to the film "Battleship Potemkin" and the optical effect of infinity when viewed from below.
