The plate depicts the building of the first and legendary Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. It was built in 1887, and is also one of the largest theaters in Ukraine and is often mentioned in the lists of the most beautiful opera houses in the world. The building survived several wars and reconstructions but managed to preserve its uniqueness and is still a place where outstanding artists and musicians perform.
